Job summary

Gallagher Fluid Handling is a distributor of new, used and remanufactured pumps, pump parts and pump packages for various commercial and industrial applications, including oil and gas production, around the world.

The Customer Service Representative will be the primary contact for all customer inquiries, process requests, quote customers and complete contract review and PO acceptance, while coordinating with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, inside sales or related experience.
• Experience in a technical or distribution industry is a plus.
• ERP experience, preferably P21.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for inquiries.
• Process requests, source with supplier, quote, review contracts and PO acceptance.
• Enter orders in P21 per established procedures.
• Follow up and expedite customer orders; assist purchasing with expediting supplier orders.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain records in P21 (ERP).
• Notify management of changes likely to impact the company.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in the improvement program.
• All other duties as assigned.

Overall Purpose

Through interaction with customers, provide answers to inquiries involving products or services GFH offers. Through this interaction, enhance the level of customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary customer contact for all customer related inquiries.
• Process customer requests, source/negotiate with supplier, quote the customer and complete contract review and PO acceptance.
• Enter orders through P21 following established procedures.
• Follow up, monitor and expedite customer orders. Assist purchasing with expediting supplier orders by communicating specific details.
• Manage all customer requests utilizing all available resources including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Notify management team of any changes likely to impact the company.
• Utilizing continuous improvement efforts by supporting management initiatives and providing suggestions within the continuous improvement program.
• Manage customer accounts through accurate record keeping. Update and maintain all pertinent customer information on P21 (ERP)
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
