Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers.

You will inspect equipment on the lot, answer questions, prepare rental invoices, and accept returns. Certification for propane filling and forklift may be offered; ongoing U-Haul University training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
