The State of Indiana’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) in Madison is hiring Customer Service Representatives 2 to administer driving exams and assist customers with titles and registrations. You will process transactions at the front desk and uphold state laws while delivering courteous service.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and a valid driver’s license. Training, privacy, and customer-focused responsibilities are core to this role at the Madison branch.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least the preceding 12-month period.
• Free from at-fault motor vehicle accidents that have resulted in death or serious bodily injury.
• Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time to branch locations, training, or branch-related community activities.
• Ability to relate tactfully, but decisively to all types of people and situations which may require a calm disposition, alertness, quick reflexes, and patience.
• Must be familiar with the operations of all types of motor vehicles.
• Working knowledge of Indiana driving laws.
• A high level of critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to process cash and card transactions.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilidades

• Administer driving exams and evaluate driving skills.
• Assist customers with titles and registration needs.
• Maintain compliance with Indiana motor vehicle laws and licensure.
• Attend trainings and certification tests as required.
• Maintain privacy of customer records and data.
• Substitute for Customer Service Representatives as needed.
