Job summary

Protegis Fire & Safety, based in Louisville, KY, seeks a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound/outbound inquiries, prepare quotes and orders, and support sales activities in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with Account Managers and Lab staff, gather customer requirements, and maintain high service levels while using Excel and proprietary software. Training opportunities and a team-focused culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in retail, distribution, customer service, accounting, or sales.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• General knowledge of general customer service principles, practices, and administrative procedures.
• Organizational, time management and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with supervisors on completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer needs and maintain a high level of service and satisfaction.
• Process customer telephone and email inquiries efficiently and courteously.
• Provide accurate, timely quotes and process orders.
• Gather competitive information from customers.
• Interface positively with Account Managers, Lab, and staff.
• Identify and articulate customer needs and upsell opportunities.
