Job summary

U-Haul in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with equipment rentals and related needs. You will inspect and maintain equipment, use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to dispatch rentals, and support customers on their journeys.

This position offers on-the-job education, with potential bonuses and opportunities through U-Haul University and advancement tracks. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered) and participate in ongoing education.
