Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Houston to be the face of our service and assist customers with U-Haul products and services. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment on the lot.

On-the-job education is offered. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with opportunities for career growth and a focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with customers and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment and ensure readiness for rental.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane as needed.
