Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with rentals, inspections, and equipment handling. The role uses our U-Scan technology to dispatch and manage inventory, and includes hands-on training and certification opportunities.

Primary duties include customer education, processing invoices, and returning equipment. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with on-the-job education provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
