Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the face of our service and assist customers with rentals and equipment inspections. You will use U-Scan tech to manage inventory, move and hook up trucks, and educate customers on products and services. On-the-job training and growth opportunities are provided.

The role requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma. We offer interviews, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
