Job summary

Lowe's Customer Service Associate role invites you to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement, delivering friendly, knowledgeable support throughout the day. You will assist with locating merchandise, answer questions, process orders and deliveries, and may cross-train in other departments to help deliver the best customer service you can.

This role offers part-time scheduling, a comprehensive benefits program, and opportunities to develop trade skills

Qualifications

6 months of computer use including input, access, modify or output information.
6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
Ability to perform duties with prolonged standing/sitting as needed.
Minimum lifting of 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation as needed.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut wood).
Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
Complete other duties as assigned.
