Job summary

At Lowe’s, a Customer Service Associate welcomes customers and helps them find the right home improvement products and services. You’ll listen, answer questions, locate merchandise, and support checkout, while adapting to department needs and busy store traffic.

You’ll join a team and may cross-train in other areas, with opportunities to grow, bilingual support, and access to Lowe’s benefits, including health insurance, tuition assistance, a 401(k) match, and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer and basic software tools.
• Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic abilities.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing duties.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and select products and services.
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and accessible.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service needs.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer requirements (e.g., cutting, bundling, tinting, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping and checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
