Job summary

Lowe's Customer Service Associate helps customers find products and services for home improvement while delivering friendly, professional service in a store setting. You’ll welcome customers, answer questions, locate merchandise, and assist with checkout and deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and lift 25 lbs
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
