Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, efficient service in-store.

You will assist with product selection, load merchandise when needed, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the day. The role supports a dynamic team across departments, with opportunities to learn trade skills and participate in company programs like tuition assistance and Employee Stock Purchase.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer (6 months)
• Experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets) (6 months)
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and more with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock replenishment by checking shelves and restocking as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
