Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and assist with home improvement questions. You will greet customers, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Plumbing.

The role is part-time with opportunities to cross-train and grow, including bilingual support advantages and consideration for beneficial trade certifications. Benefits include health, tuition help, and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer for input, access, modification or output of information.
• 6 months of using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Able to perform duties with standing/sitting for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus and certification in related trades is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (painting, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
