Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and assist with home improvement needs in the store. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure exceptional service across departments.

The role includes part-time hours, stocking, and potential cross-training in other areas to deliver top-notch customer experiences in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
