Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience across departments. You may load merchandise, assist with locating items, and participate in cross-training to deliver outstanding service.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interaction, with opportunities to develop product knowledge and customer care skills while supporting store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by finding empty shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned
