Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of its service and help customers on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment. You’ll assist customers, use U-Scan technology to dispatch rentals, move and connect trucks, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.

The role includes training via U-Haul University and potential certifications such as propane and forklift, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift certification offered upon employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
