Job summary

Lowe's in Murphy, NC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs. You’ll interact with customers throughout the day and assist with locating merchandise while ensuring needs are met.

You’ll spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise. The role may involve department-specific responsibilities and occasional lifting or stocking tasks as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as needed for the role.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unaided or with assistance as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenishing supplies where needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut pipe, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
