Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers, assist with locating items, and ensure their needs are met throughout the shopping experience.

You may work in various departments and handle light loading, with daily duties varying by location to deliver the best possible service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform job duties.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment by identifying empty shelf spaces.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet expectations.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
