Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in the Gloucester, VA area to welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for home improvement needs.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with product selection, and support merchandise presentation while contributing to a friendly, efficient shopping experience for all shoppers.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform duties as described.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
