Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Plano, Texas. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and product information. You’ll use U-Scan tech to manage inventory and guide customers through processes.

The role includes training opportunities, safety-focused duties, and potential bonuses for performance. A strong customer-service mindset helps you succeed in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience preferred.
• Ability to explain products and services clearly.
• Comfort using mobile tech to manage rentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
