Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Georgetown, Texas is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team, helping customers with rentals, equipment, and related products.

You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals, move and hook up trucks, and inspect equipment. Certifications for propane filling and forklift operation are provided after employment, with ongoing U-Haul University training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification provided after employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification provided after employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
