Job summary

U-Haul in Bangor, ME is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face helping customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and safety checks. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to dispatch and return equipment and assist customers on and off-site.

The position offers on-the-job education and a paid interview process, with benefits including health plans, paid holidays, and a $100 hiring bonus plus a $300 certification bonus after completing the inspection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane and forklift certification offered upon employment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
