Job summary

Chart Industries, a Howden company, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Windsor, CT. This role delivers information to internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner while supporting the Sales Team through order processing and lead time updates.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in customer service, experience with ERP and contract administration, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role.
• Experience with contract review/administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Respond to external customers and channel partners with quotations, pricing, and lead times.
• Process new orders accurately and provide updated lead times and tracking information.
• Prioritize and respond to a moderate volume of emails and calls daily.
• Prepare submittal packets for Sales Team.
• Recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems; escalate complaints when needed.
