Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Bloomington, IL. Under close supervision, you will fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls, while negotiating prices and ensuring inventory levels.

This role emphasizes reliability, communication, and accuracy in order processing. The position involves placing orders, sourcing products, selecting cost-effective shipping methods, and supporting Account Representatives to drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide quotes.
• Place customer orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Negotiate prices within established parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory availability and place orders as needed.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and handle returns as needed.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO.
