Job summary

Amerock, a leading decorative hardware manufacturer, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to handle inbound calls, process orders, provide order status updates, and offer product support for assigned accounts from our Freeport facility.

You will collaborate with sales and supply chain, monitor service levels, resolve issues quickly, and communicate potential problems to management to improve processes, within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Innate attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP; strong computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional business etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and process orders in a timely manner
• Monitor service levels of assigned accounts and communicate issues as needed
• Work with other functional groups to resolve/prevent customer issues
• Monitor orders on hold and follow up to clear pricing/credit issues as quickly as possible
