Responsibilities

• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influence gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase price within parameters.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing MI profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders to ensure availability.
• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments; source products from inventory or suppliers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods and handle customer returns.
• Assist less experienced reps with customer needs and problem resolution.
• Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and handle order entry; handle more complex inquiries as experience grows.
