Job summary

Customized Distribution Service is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support internal and external customers from our Allentown PA area. You will handle order entry, documentation, and communication to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment within the CDS warehouse system and client platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication, Excel experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) or more years of prior Customer Service Experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follow attendance and policies of the company.
• Process and monitor shipping/receiving documentation and transactions.
• Enter and manage customer information in the company software (WMS, Foxware, SAP).
• Respond to phone and email inquiries from customers and carriers.
• Coordinate with operations for efficient scheduling and order handling.
• Receive, process, and verify customer orders and returns.
• Generate reports as requested by clients and CDS management.
• Maintain shipping records for returns or damaged goods.
• Assist in dock office coverage as needed.
• Support cycle counts and route shipments using customer TMS portals.
