Job summary

The University of Michigan-Flint School of Management is seeking a part-time Clerk B (TEMP) to assist students and families with financial aid inquiries by phone and in person at the Flint Campus. This onsite position is available to UM1Flint students eligible for WORK STUDY for Fall 2026.

You will greet patrons, answer calls, and may support the operations team on additional projects. Interviews begin immediately until the office schedule is filled; onsite arrangement applies.

• Must be a UM-Flint student and be eligible for WORK-STUDY funding for Fall 2026.
• Customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn how to use multiple software applications.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.

Modes of Work

Onsite. The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.
