Job summary

Big Lots is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet guests, help customers select merchandise, and process transactions at the point of sale. You will also help stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while delivering friendly, helpful service.

In this role, you will contribute to a positive shopping experience by assisting customers with product information and ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and priced.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection and answer questions.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS system.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and recover merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment for customers.
• Ensure safe and secure shopping environment and follow store procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
