Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with selection of merchandise, complete transactions, and help unload deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized store and a safe shopping environment. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is often required.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store environments.
• Ability to follow directives and interpret operational documents.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Assist customers in selecting merchandise.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Unload trucks and process freight as needed.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment and follow store policies.
