Job summary

Michaels Stores in Miami, FL is hiring store team members to assist customers, help shoppers locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. Team members will also support truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock merchandise across the store.

Responsibilities include engaging customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating on VOC surveys, and assisting with Omni channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including the return/go back process and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote company vision and values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
