Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Garden City, GA to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan. The role supports daily operations and ensures efficient service delivery.

Work shift: Monday–Friday, 12p–9p, with location at 5556 Export Blvd, Garden City. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, mechanical exposure, and the ability to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree, Technical School Degree, or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Prior experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred.
• Understand and comply with Penske policies and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to travel and meet schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by considering customer needs, repairs, parts, technicians, and hours.
• Communicate maintenance updates to customers and resolve service issues.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Assure parts availability for scheduled work.
• Hold outside vendors accountable for quality and schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as needed.
• Assist with other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
