Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to greet customers and assist with product selection in a store setting. Daily tasks include helping customers locate merchandise, answering questions, and ensuring accurate checkout and delivery processing.

Work may include stocking, department-specific duties, and cross-training in other areas to deliver excellent service. Applicants should be comfortable with standing and lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance when needed.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer or information systems.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., paint tint, pipe cutting, wood handling).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
