Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in a part-time/variable schedule to welcome customers and assist with product selection and service. You’ll help locate items, load merchandise when needed, and ensure customer needs are met in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll work across departments, learn multiple areas, and participate in cross-training to deliver top-notch service while maintaining store presentation and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Six months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required for the role.
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, wood handling).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
