Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You will engage with customers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and ensure customer needs are met.

Role includes cross-training across departments, potential load assistance, and responding to customer questions with friendly service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as needed.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
