Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure needs are met while supporting multiple departments as needed.

You will work in a part-time role, handling routine tasks, stocking, and processing orders, with opportunities to learn trade skills and participate in discount programs. A strong focus on customer care is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support the team.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
