Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You will assist with locating merchandise, loading orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the day.

The role involves standing for long periods, handling diverse duties across departments, and possibly traveling to support neighboring stores. A teamwork mindset and basic computer/retail tech skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, wood cutting).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
