Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and ensure needs are met while maintaining organized displays. Daily duties include answering questions, loading merchandise when needed, and participating in cross-functional training to support store operations across departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic ability.
• Able to stand/sit for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation if needed.
• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience (preferred).
• Bi-lingual skills (preferred).
• Departmental certification in applicable trades (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately; ensure timely receipt by customers.
• Cross-train in other areas to support store operations.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
