Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail or customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting with/without accommodations
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required
• High level of integrity required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Maintaining store cleanliness and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, keeping areas neat
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned
