Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Laredo, TX. You will work as part of a supportive team to be the face of U-Haul’s exceptional service, assisting customers with rentals, inspections, and equipment needs using U-Scan technology.

This on-the-job education position includes a pay-for-interview bonus structure and potential career advancement. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
