Job summary

U-Haul in Dallas is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and hitch installations. You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and assist customers on the lot.

The role offers on-the-job education, paid interviews, and earning bonuses including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 completion bonus through our program. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
