Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Virginia to assist customers at the center and in the field, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory and helping with equipment inspections and hookups.

The position offers on-the-job education, two paid interviews, a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 completion bonus, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing service experience helpful
• Ability to explain products and services clearly
• Familiarity with basic safety and driving requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Inspect equipment and check fluid levels
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift operation (certifications offered)
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University
