Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service at a Chicago-area location. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect equipment and use U-Scan technology to manage inventory and invoices.

The role includes hands-on truck hitching and safety checks, with on-site training and paths for advancement. Qualifying applicants have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with customers and use basic tech for rentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
