Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Urbana, IL to be the face of our exceptional service. You will assist customers, dispatch rentals with U-Scan tech, and help move and hook up trucks while inspecting equipment.

The role includes on-the-job education, with bonuses and a team-focused environment. Successful candidates will have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma, with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based tools to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane; forklift operation may be required (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
