Job summary

JOST International is seeking a Customer Service & Data Entry Specialist to maintain strong customer relations, process daily sales orders, and coordinate with internal teams to meet needs.

You will enter orders in SAP, verify pricing and lead times, manage EDI orders, and support the sales staff with timely communication and accurate invoicing while ensuring quality and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of on-the-job experience or equivalent.
• Completion of college education in a business related field.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn the SAP ERP system.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent communication, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take direction and work independently but also as part of a team.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced office environment.
• Highly dependable, motivated and self-driven with accuracy.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products, quality and safety procedures, and ERP basics.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer calls and emails from initial contact to order receipt.
• Enter orders accurately into SAP ERP, verify pricing, quotes, and shipping lead times for domestic and international customers.
• Notify management promptly of order issues with detailed information.
• Manage incoming EDI orders and correct any errors.
• Generate accurate invoices in SAP ERP; duplicate info on customer portals as needed.
• Provide sales quotations following predefined guidelines under Inside Sales Manager guidance.
• Support Inside and Outside Sales teams with essential communication and feedback.
• Arrange correct logistics for orders including routings and carriers.
• Forward warranty issues to appropriate management in a timely fashion.
• Support Outside Sales staff as needed and perform other management-assigned tasks.
