Job summary

Ward Trucking, LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate / Clerical Support / OS&D Associate to ensure customers are serviced promptly and accurately while supporting operations and sales in the service center.

The role includes answering phones, reviewing reports, contacting customers about payments, and coordinating problem resolution to support retention and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be customer focused with good people skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills and basic knowledge of telephone etiquette.
• Must have previous clerical experience in a business atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones in accordance with Ward standards using applicable marketing greeting.
• Review non-credit report each morning to identify billing errors and cash-only customers.
• Call customers on DRC/COD payments not picked up to inform payment terms; record calls on freight bill.
• Coordinate problem resolution between customers, sales managers and operations to resolve issues promptly.
• Expedite and trace shipments, provide rate quotes, and coordinate expedited service as needed.
