Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Children’s Activity Area Associate in Centennial to help create a safe, engaging play space for visiting children. You’ll register and supervise kids, run activities, and maintain a clean play area while assisting customers across the store as needed.

The role includes nights and weekends in a busy retail environment, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer care, and teamwork. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits and co-worker perks described by the employer.

• Register children, monitor and entertain children while in the playroom, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

• Build meaningful and empathetic relationships with children and their caretakers.
• Strictly adhere to all IKEA play facility and safety & security policy and procedures.
• Support in other areas of the customer experience function as needed, such as cashier and greeter role to provide additional coverage when needed.

JOB TYPE: Permanent – Full-Time (benefits included)

HOURS: 34-40 hrs/week (FT)

SHIFT: Retail Environment, must be able to work nights & weekends.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $19.50.
