Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Front End Team Member to support customers at the checkout and service desks. You will handle cash transactions, bag groceries, maintain displays, and assist with customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

No prior retail experience is required, but strong math and communication skills are expected. This role includes training on POS systems, adherence to health and safety standards, and participation in company programs as directed

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Experience with cash registers is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows cash handling procedures and cashier variance policy.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and back up lines.
