Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Customer Service & E-Commerce Team Member to assist customers at the check-out, operate cash registers, bag groceries, and support the customer service desk. You will help maintain appealing displays and uphold company standards, procedures, and health regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check out groceries accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold alcohol sale regs and taxes.
• Follow check/ATM/credit procedures.
• Apply tare procedures on scalable items.
• Clean and stock Front End areas.
• Follow cash handling procedures and variance policy.
• Assist training of new cashiers.
• Assist control of customer flow to reduce wait times.
• Participate in company programs as directed.
• Arrive on time and prepared for shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell where appropriate.
• Maximize sales through proper stocking and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and Weights & Measures procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work/shopping environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• US-only: cashier shopper training for some hires.
