Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries accurately and efficiently.
• Upholds government regulations on alcohol sales and taxation.
• Follows cash handling procedures and proper POS procedures.
• Maintains front-end areas and stock; changes tapes and ribbons as needed.
• Assists with training of new Cashier Team Members.
• Supports supervisor to manage customer flow and reduce wait times.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper merchandising and stock rotation.
• Adheres to health, safety, and WFM quality goals.
